Nokia Lumia Phones Sales Bringing Profit

The Lumia series from the Nokia mobiles has got quite a lot of fans in the global mobile segment. Today, Nokia has announced its financial result for second quarter 2012. it also unveiled that that the company has shipped nearly 4 million of its Windows Phone based Lumia devices in the market. Earlier in the first quarter of 2012 the Nokia has shipped around 2 million Lumia devices and during the holidays quarter of 2011 the company sold around 1 million. The reports also reveals that the Nokia has recorded a huge net loss of around one billion in the second quarter of 2012. now the net sales stood at Rs. 510 billion which is slightly improved when compared with the last quarter. The Microsoft is also continuing a standard record of Rs. 13,813 million injections in every quarter in order to support its Finnish partner, Nokia.

Finally, the report states that the Nokia has shipped 10.2 million smartphones in the three months from April to June. The reports also suggest that the half of the devices which are on sale are running based on the Windows Phone platform. The report also suggests that the Nokia's feature phone business was raising by 2 percent year on year in the second quarter and the Finnish mobile maker has shipped around 73.5 million of the basic devices in the market. The reports also states that the Nokia has recorded a market of nearly 8 percent in pre-market trading and currently the Nokia has increases it market share of 4 percent. The Nokia is expecting to increase the sales of the existing Lumia devices by dumping its latest Windows operating system with exciting new features. The amazing devices which gets the new Windows 8 operating system includes Nokia Lumia 800, Nokia Lumia 900, Nokia Lumia 610, Nokia Lumia 710.
