Nokia 105 A lightweight inexpensive phone

Nokia mobiles, a leading mobile manufacturing unit, launches a new mobile at the Mobile World Congress. The mobile is not the high-end smartphone, rather a basic feature phone. The new handset is called Nokia 105. this mobile is the most affordable phone for any one. Nokia 105 price is just Rs. 1,000. With the price tag of Rs. 1,000, the mobile will certainly be budget friendly for anyone. The basic phone with the options of calling and sending text messages along with other basic features will be available in the mobile. The release of the mobile into the market is expected very soon.

Nokia 105 pictures a tiny 1.45 inch display screen, running on Nokia series 30 platform, with 128 x 128 pixel resolution and almost 125ppi pixel density. The display screen is capable of producing 65K colors. We find a memory space of 8MB in the device which should store the contacts, messages, few other small applications and most importantly the proprietary operating system. The device can store up to 500 contact details. The mobile can have a mini SIM card of 2G service.

Nokia 105 features flash light that helps during the needful hours. The dimensions of the device are 107 x 44.8 x 14.3 mm and weighs around 70 grams, hence it will be very light and will not have any difficulty in carrying the device. The device has a regular 12 key keypad that contains numbers and alphabets. We can have earphones connected to the device with the help of a 3.5mm jack pinned to the device. There is a USB port in the device that helps in only charging the device. We cannot expect to have any high-end or, for that matter, no mid-range applications that we see in various smartphones. Nokia 105 is given the option of listening to the FM radio using the 3.5mm jack connecting earphones. The other features that are available in the mobile are Digital clock, Calculator, Calendar, Converter, Expense manager that enables us to use whenever it is necessary. The mobile is supported by the Li-ion battery with a capacity of 800mAh. The talk time of the mobile phone is up to 12 hours 30 mins while the standby time is as much as 840 hours which is close to one month. The mobile is expected to be available in two variants of black and cyan colors.
