Nokia Lumia 610 and HTC Desire C priced below Rs. 12,000

The search for a beginner smartphones are usually ending between the Nokia Mobiles which offers the Nokia Lumia 610 and the HTC Mobiles, which offers the HTC Desire C since both the Nokia Lumia 610 price and HTC Desire C price are below 12,000 INR. So we thought why not put them on a one on one here?? To start with the measurements, the Nokia Lumia 610 measurements are 119 x 62 x 12 mm and weighs at 131.5 g whereas those of HTC Desire C’s are 107.2 x 60.6 x 12.3 mm and weighs 100 g. These statistics suggest that Nokia Lumia 610 will require a larger pocket than HTC Desire C because of its larger measurements and weight. Looks of Nokia Lumia 610 seems to be quite eye-catching and top quality for a beginner device but HTC Desire C also offers a very stable and durable look and feel in the hands of individual. As far as the display goes Nokia Lumia 610 has a 3.7 inches display with a quality of 480 x 800 pixels however HTC Desire C contains a 3.5 inches display with a quality 320 x 480 pixels. Therefore Nokia Lumia 610’s is capable of recreating sharper outcome on its relatively larger display.

Nokia Lumia 610 is offered with a moderate 800MHz Qualcomm processor but HTC Desire C comes with a relatively more slow 600 MHz Qualcomm processor. It however tries to make up with its 512 MB RAM against 256 MB Ram of HTC Desire C. Both gadgets are aloes competitors to each other in terms of handling speed and it’s rather difficult to tell which one comes out victorious. Nokia Lumia 610 operates on Windows 7.5 (mango) OS which provides a clean new and very easy to use live Tile individual interface with real-time announcements but drops significantly short when it comes to number of applications of Android operating system 4.0 ( ICS) on which HTC Desire C functions. Nokia Lumia 610 allows on board storage of up to 8GB but disappoints with its deficiency of expandability at the front side of 4GB of HTC Desire C and 32 GB expandability.

Both gadgets come with a 5MP primary photographic camera but don’t have a front camera. HTC Desire C has an assortment power of 1230 mAH power supply with a minimal difference with power supply of HTC Lumia 610 which is 1300 mAH. Small variations here and there in specifications, but it’s actually a battle of individual interface v/s environment (apps). If you are an app-junkie it will be a small decision to pick HTC Desire C else if you allow yourself to use some clean new individual interface go for Nokia Lumia 610.
