Nokia Lumia 610 and HTC Desire C priced below Rs. 12,000

The search for a beginner smartphones are usually ending between the Nokia Mobiles which offers the Nokia Lumia 610 and the HTC Mobiles, which offers the HTC Desire C since both the Nokia Lumia 610 price and HTC Desire C price are below 12,000 INR. So we thought why not put them on a one on one here?? To start with the measurements, the Nokia Lumia 610 measurements are 119 x 62 x 12 mm and weighs at 131.5 g whereas those of HTC Desire C’s are 107.2 x 60.6 x 12.3 mm and weighs 100 g. These statistics suggest that Nokia Lumia 610 will require a larger pocket than HTC Desire C because of its larger measurements and weight. Looks of Nokia Lumia 610 seems to be quite eye-catching and top quality for a beginner device but HTC Desire C also offers a very stable and durable look and feel in the hands of individual. As far as the display goes Nokia Lumia 610 has a 3.7 inches display with a quality of 480 x 800 pixels however HTC Desire C contains a 3.5 inches display with a quality 320 x 480 pixels. Therefore Nokia Lumia 610’s is capable of recreating sharper outcome on its relatively larger display.

Nokia Lumia 610 is offered with a moderate 800MHz Qualcomm processor but HTC Desire C comes with a relatively more slow 600 MHz Qualcomm processor. It however tries to make up with its 512 MB RAM against 256 MB Ram of HTC Desire C. Both gadgets are aloes competitors to each other in terms of handling speed and it’s rather difficult to tell which one comes out victorious. Nokia Lumia 610 operates on Windows 7.5 (mango) OS which provides a clean new and very easy to use live Tile individual interface with real-time announcements but drops significantly short when it comes to number of applications of Android operating system 4.0 ( ICS) on which HTC Desire C functions. Nokia Lumia 610 allows on board storage of up to 8GB but disappoints with its deficiency of expandability at the front side of 4GB of HTC Desire C and 32 GB expandability.

Both gadgets come with a 5MP primary photographic camera but don’t have a front camera. HTC Desire C has an assortment power of 1230 mAH power supply with a minimal difference with power supply of HTC Lumia 610 which is 1300 mAH. Small variations here and there in specifications, but it’s actually a battle of individual interface v/s environment (apps). If you are an app-junkie it will be a small decision to pick HTC Desire C else if you allow yourself to use some clean new individual interface go for Nokia Lumia 610. HTC 8X may be cheaper than Nokia Lumia 920

Lumia 920 by Nokia and HTC 8X were announced recently. Perhaps there can be more similarities in both these devices than what is actually visible. Basically, both the devices have different approaches although the design is similar. You will learn more about these devices as you read the features. Similar to Lumia 920, the HTC Windows Phone comprises of similar HD screens and LTE and NFC technology. When it comes to Nokia mobiles, Lumia 920 is available in red, black, white, yellow and gray colors whereas HTC Windows phone is available in red, yellow, black and blue colors. Both the devices - Windows phone by HTC and Nokia Lumia 920 consist of 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor. The weight and thickness of HTC Windows phone is 4.6 ounces and 0.39 inches and 6.5 ounces along with 0.42 inches for Lumia 920 by Nokia.  Lumia 920 has a huge memory of 32 GB as compared to the less extended 16GB memory of HTC Windows phone. The battery life of Lumia 920 by Nokia is higher with 2000mAh whereas it is 1800mAh for HTC Windows.

The 8 megapixel camera in Windows 8X is believed to be the best thing that can happen to anybody the most desirable component that delivers the most attractive photographs. However, the 8.7 camera of Nokia Lumia is equally interesting although the apprehension created by its predecessor Lumia 900 leaves us in doubt. HTC mobiles have changed the approach to the camera in their mobile device as HTC’s 2.1 front facing camera has an extra edge from 1 megapixel camera that is present in Lumia 920.

One of the the most important aspects is HTC 8X price for which the company has not yet specified a definite amount although it is most likely to be around Rs 35,000. The phone is expected to be available in late November 2012. For Nokia Lumia 920 price, which is also supposed to hit the stores in November 2012, the expected price range should be around of Rs 42,000. With a variety of attractive features in both handsets that stand close to each other, pricing and availability will decide the fate of HTC Windows phone and Lumia 920 by Nokia. First WP8 to Developed by Nokia, Samsung, Huawei, and HTC

A great news for the windows mobile phone lovers, which has shaken the hearts that Nokia, Samsung, Huawei, HTC are jumping together to launch their Windows Phone 8 mobile handsets soon. Out of these renowned companies Nokia is one which is soon building this WP8 phone. Nokia has already released Nokia Lumia 800 which is one of the Windows based phone having Windows 7.5 Mango OS.  This is very surprising that LG which was also the part of race, has stepped back lately and the race is substituted by Huawei soon after. Microsoft might get a big help from Huawei in order to promote its products in the vast Chinese market. The core source of the the WP8 device will be Qualcomm as it was giving its services earlier also. Microsoft stated that dual core-processors will be their chief concern and it is not decided yet that they will go for Snapdragon S3 or S4 chipsets. Windows 7 based smartphones were launched by Nokia recently as Nokia Lumia series, but they were not successful in attracting large customers due to craze for Android based smartphones. However, Microsoft is working hard to concentrate fully on WP8 to lead from Android. However, in Microsoft’s view it will take time but they will be able to lead in the race in coming years. Recently Microsoft revealed their new partners who will debut Windows Phone 8 operating system in their smartphone devices. Microsoft revealed four new partners at Microsoft developers meet which was held recently, the phone makers who made to the list of Microsoft were Nokia mobiles, Samsung mobiles, HTC mobiles, and Huawei mobiles. If we closely observe the list we find a new name in the list which came as a surprise to everyone. The Chinese based Huawei came as a surprise to everyone, it looks like the operating system manufacturing giant wants to create its presence in the Chinese market as Huawei has a good hold on the Chinese mobile market. There is a buzz that Microsoft dropped LG name from the list and included Huawei in it. Huawei is known for manufacturing most popular mobiles, which not only come with high end features but also will be coming at a very affordable price.

The mobile makers that are in the list are the top players in the global mobile market, in fact the South Korean smartphone maker Samsung is leading the mobile world race, and this would be a huge advantage for Microsoft as it included all the big names in the mobile world, in other words we can say that Microsoft picked the cream of the mobile world industry for its Windows Phone 8 operating system. Microsoft has not exposed or did not speak about any smartphones that will be coming in the future and instead left to the mobile manufacturers to make an announcement when their devices are Windows Phone 8 operating system ready.
