When the market of phones is looked upon then there are certain divisions in it like the smart phone categories like the category of above Rs 10,000 mobiles. The most famous of them all is the under Rs 5000 market which is the most competitive one and Micromax mobiles is popular for such inexpensive mobiles. This is due to the fact that in India majority of the population is middle class and lower middle class and to match their budget and standards, this range is introduced and there are so many phones in this category. So many companies like the home grown MicromaxMobiles and Lava bring in new handsets now and then.
These days getting Android phones for as low as Rs 3.000 is not a surprise. So to bring in the excellence in this range the home grown companies hold a stiff competition from the giant leader Nokia. The Nokia Mobiles are the giant leaders and they still hold the good position by leading a market share of about 60 percent in India. Now there is a one such battle between two launched handsets namely Micromax Ninja 3 A57 and the Nokia Asha 305 which were launched a few months back in India.
Nokia Asha 305 is a very nice phone with a distinct look having a bar shape. It has sharp curves and a glossy plastic finish. Its dimension is about 53.8 x 110.3 x 12.8 mm (width, height, thickness) and weighs 98 grams. The Asha 305 has a small 3 inch screen with 320x480 resolution. It comes with a resistive screen. Nokia Asha has 32 MB RAM, due to which the performance gets affected. It works on Nokia's Series 40 operating system. The battery pack up of Nokia Asha phone provides 14 hours of talktime and it comes with a 2 mega pixel camera.
Micromax Ninja 3 A57 reviews says that it has a thickness of about 11.5mm and a width of about 63mm and is bigger by 116mm in height. It is weighed at 93.88gms only. Its looks are real decent for the price it offers. The display has a 3.5 inch TFT display with 320x480 resolutions. Micromax handset has capacitive touch display. It has 256 MB of RAM which is not excellent but decent enough. Ninja works on Android 2.3 and with this it has access to lakhs of applications and games. It comes with 4 hours of talktime and a 3 mega pixel camera.
Nokia Asha 305 dual sim mobile phone price is about Rs 4,500 and the Micromax Ninja 3 A57 price is almost the same. The USP of Nokia phone over Micromax is its music which is a plus pointand has an edge over it when it comes to music.
