Nokia did loads of tests on Nokia Lumia 610 at its Research and Development centre and have finally announced their decision that Nokia Lumia 610 will not be capable of running Skype application. Another heart breaking thing is that the Skype application will not be able to download the Skype application from Windows phone market place. It is assumed that the major reason behind this decision is the slow processor and insufficient RAM of Nokia Lumia 610 as the gadget is powered by an 800 MHz processor and has 256 MB of RAM, which is actually not enough to run the Skype application. Nokia Lumia 610 runs on Microsoft Windows Mobile Mango operating system.
Now the biggest question which crop up in mind is how Microsoft has not taken any steps to craft Skype application in Nokia Lumia 610 when Skype is owned by Microsoft only. Though Nokia Lumia 610 price is not yet confirmed but it is expected to come under the price tag of Rs. 12000. Nokia Lumia 610 supports both 2G and 3G networks. Nokia Lumia 610 pictures reveal the prettiness of the phone as it is very well-designed and attention-grabbing device. Standard messaging features like SMS, MMS along with email facility is provided in Nokia Lumia 610, which allows the user to stay connected with friends and family members. The time will clear the mystery about the absence of Skype Application in Nokia Lumia 610. One can only hope that no more heart-breaking news comes from the house of Nokia Mobiles.
