Nokia Mobiles has announced to bring out Nokia Asha series in India. Nokia has given a distinct Indian touch to this mobile series by giving it an Indian name “Asha”. Nokia Asha 300 price in India is not available yet but it is expected to be very moderate. Nokia Asha 300 supports both 2G and 3G networks. Nokia Asha 300 dimensions are 112.8x49.5x12.7mm and it weighs 85gm.Nokia Asha 300 is a blend of touch and type, employing TFT resistive touchscreen. The display size of Asha 300 is 2.4 inches having 240x320 pixels. The display employs proximity sensor for auto turn-off.
Nokia Asha 300 features include a camera of 5 megapixel with fixed focus. The mobile does not employ a secondary camera. Nokia Asha 300 offers plenty of connectivity services including 3G, GPRS, EDGE, USB, WLAN, Bluetooth. The internal memory of the cell phone is 140 MB which can be extended up to 32GB with the help of microSD card. A 16GB microSDHC card accompanies the new Asha. Other accessories that accompany Nokia Asha 300 handset are a Nokia Bluetooth stereo headset BH-111 , Nokia Play 360 degree and Nokia Bluetooth headset BH-112.
