2013 CarDekho Awards: India Votes for its Favorite Cars

CarDekho has finally declared the result of the voting it had held for the first time ever. Yes! CarDekho Awards 2013 has now come to a conclusion. There are a few points, or rather facts, that have come out, clear thanks to the award organization. The first being that CarDekho is not only the country's leading automotive portal but also the most loved and popular as well. Hyundai i10 came out as the most loved car in India with the highest number of votes among all categories and sections. What makes the team CarDekho highly euphoric is the number of votes registered, which stands out as the highest ever recorded for such awards in the country.

CarDekho Awards 2013, presented by Berkshireinsurance.com and co-sponsored by Sterling Holidays, is the first time effort by CarDekho, and has received tremendous success. The voting lines were opened for a month for the public, starting on 7th January earlier this year and closing on 7th February 2013. The awards were democratic, meaning to say that the awards for the cars have been decided by the public, and would benefit the public by-and-large. Achieving huge success in its first attempt, CarDekho registered total of 3,29,434 cast votes. The awards have thus recognized and honored the various car manufacturers and the cars in India at a new platform, putting cars, as per decided by the viewership data, to be voted for covering the segments like hatchbacks, sedans, SUVs, UVs, and luxury cars. All the votes were registered under sections of most popular and best cars. The result-oriented award organization brings to the front the most loved cars in India, thus hinting a step ahead to those who might be planning to buy a new car, and also to the manufacturers who can gain a clue about the features luring the users the most. For sure, it must have been tough choice for the voters to have voted the best of the best, since the car market has been totally flooded with up-end cars.
