Three days ago on 18 Jan 2013 Nokia Mobiles launched another mobile called Nokia 114. This mobile is targeted at youth population of India as stated by some websites. It may not have countless features but it would be good for buyers who prefer mobiles for calling purpose only. These mobiles are small and handy. Earlier mobiles by Nokia under this price have been very durable, lets hope it is the same for this handset. Nokia 114 Price is Rs 2.549/ Some leading websites may offer a bargain of Rs 200. The mobile has low range and may appeal to those who wish to spend less on mobile phones. The 3315 handset by the same company gained huge popularity when it was released. After that the company started to focus on high ranged, multi featured smart phones. This mobile has Symbian unlike the windows OS that comes with many smart phones.
The full Nokia 114 Features are 2g network support, body dimensions 110 x 46 x 14.8 mm and weight 80 g. Display is TFT of 1.8 inches. It may not be suitable for those looking forward to use this phone for photography. There is polyphonic ringtone support, a loudspeaker and 3.5 mm jack. This jack can be used for any type of headphone. The memory card slot can be expanded to 32 GB with 16 MB internal memory. Up to 1000 phonebook entries can be made and you can also record calls. This facility is often missing in many smart phones. For packet data or internet you can use GPRS and EDGE. For file sharing bluetooth and USB 2.0 have been attached. There is primary VGA camera that supports video recording. Messaging can be done via SMS(threaded view), MMS, Email and IM. Wap and HTML browsers may be used to surf the net.

The battery is li-ion of 1020 mAh this would give backup of overall 637 hours. As there isn’t a large display hence we can expect the battery life to be very long. The Nokia 114 Pictures show a traditional style colored phone. There are the number key pad on the front side of the phone. A universal scrolling key has been given below the screen.
