Nokia Mobiles is soon going to launch Nokia Lumia 1020. The special feature about this phone is its camera itself. Nokia Lumia 1020 may have completely changed the way we are using mobile phones nowadays. Basically it has got point and shoot or in other words we can say it as a compact camera stuffed at the rear part of the smartphone body. But now the question arises that is it really going to cause any disruption in the use of this mobile phone and the compact camera class too?
Nokia Lumia 1020 Features include one of the most important and an essential feature of this phone that is, it camera. It has got 41 megapixel camera (38 megapixel effective, 7152 x 5368 pixels) which has got Carl Zeiss optics, optical image stabilization, auto/manual focus and Xenon & LED flash. It is based on pureview technology with geo-tagging, face detection and dual capture panorama. You can also capture video of 1080p with 4x lossless digital zoom and video light. Apart from this it has got secondary front facing camera of 1.2 megapixel. Nokia Lumia 1020 Price was not yet revealed.
After reviewing this mobile’s features, it left people wondering that what could be the intension of a finnish company behind adding up a 41MP camera sensor into a flagship smartphone. Was it added up in order to give the phone a big number on a spec sheet or it was made to replace your compact system camera? Now let’s compare it with iPhone 5 which has got a respectable 8MP shooter and Olympus E-PL5, which is a nice compact system camera which has really got good image quality. The first comparison comes out to be obvious, iPhone 5 is basically a smartphone which is nowadays mostly found in everyone's hand and when its comes at evaluation of its camera it has always performed well against any other smartphone.
When Nokia Lumia 1020 was compared with a full frame DSLR camera, this mobile gave it a fair competition as it claims that its 41MP PureView camera were only found in DSLRs. But, regardless of its pixel count this smartphone proves to be a good competition. Looking at Nokia Lumia 1020 Pictures we can say that it may appear to be a little heavy and thick as compared to the other phones, but it appears to be the favourite one among photography lovers and Nokia new phone Nokia Lumia 925 is up for pre-orders in India with a price tag of INR 33,999.
