Nokia Lumia 820 Launched With Windows 8 OS

Finally we get to see some of the most popular Nokia mobiles today. A great piece of news for all the gadget freaks, as we mentioned earlier also that Nokia called a press conference today i.e. 10th January and as expected we had a look at the very much hyped and awaited the Nokia Lumia 820. For all those people who are looking for a smartphone to switch from their Microsoft OS, it surely is an option worth considering.
Nokia Lumia 820
Nokia Lumia 820 has the similar polycarbonate body shell like the Lumia 800 with removable backplates and available in a variety of colors. The back cover though is very smooth but doesn't offer great amount of grip and poses some problems while taking it out to insert the SIM. The device runs into 124 x 69 x 10mm and weighs about 160gms that keeps it pretty small and light. It sports a 4.3 inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It is certainly not a big enough screen as compared to other smartphones, it is decent enough for the budget range. The Nokia Lumia 820 features a primary rear snapper which comes with an 8 megapixel sensor with auto focus & dual LED flash and is capable of clicking still shots at 3264x2448 pixels and video at full HD 1080p resolution. The physical shutter button on the handset gives you the ease to directly switch on the camera, but as the complete screen which is hyper sensitive(can be operated with gloves on) acts as a shutter it might give some problems.
Nokia Lumia 820
Lumia 820 is powered by a modest 1,620 mAh battery giving you a standby time of upto 330 hrs and talk time of upto 14 hrs on 2G network. And luckily Nokia has also incorporated wireless charging technology in Lumia 820. It comes with a dual core Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and Adreno 225 GPU with 1GB RAM and an internal storage of 8 GB which is expandable upto 64 GB with micro SD card. Nokia Lumia 820 pictures that can be seen a lot over the internet, are enough to raise curiosity among people as to what the phone has packed in. Nokia Lumia 820 price in India, as announced today is Rs. 27,599. So, finally the wait is over and here we are with some new members to the Lumia family. The phone is surely Nokia's future bet and we will get to see soon if it is able to capture the market and stand on to the company's expectation.
