Recently Nokia launched a new smartphone Nokia Asha 305 which is a touchscreen dual-SIM phone which adds one more device to the series of Nokia Asha mobiles. The company aims to deliver an outstanding experience in the category of smartphones for the users. The Asha 305 has a dimensional size of 110.3 x 53.8 x 12.8 mm & weighs just 98 gm. The Nokia Asha 305 features a small 3 inches touchscreen providing a 240 x 320 pixel resolution. The handset is Bluetooth embedded but does not have Wi-Fi and 3 G services.
Although the phone is having a poor resolution, it still holds its image by having powered by a series 40 interface bringing a combination of Android drop down menu and Meego's 3 swappable home displays. The 3 swappable home screens consist of an app drawer, shortcuts, with the 3rd open to choices like radio etc. On the other side the customers just have to swipe the Android drop down menu from the top to accomplish a set of actions like open and play music player and modify the settings of the two SIM cards according to their preference. Nokia had announced their full touch screen Asha series phones, the Asha 305.
The cell phone has QWERTY keypad which enables easy typing. The keypad can also be turned into landscape orientation. The main advantage of this cell phone is that it lets you download the music in just a min. The phone contains loud speakers that are attached with improved media player choices. Although it is one of many easily affordable phones, Nokia Asha 305's dual - SIM facility makes it a valuable selection in the Android dual - SIM marketplace. The 1st SIM card slot is situated below the battery while the 2nd one is swappable and is situated on a side tray. This removes the need to open the back cover of the cell phone and taking in or out the battery every time you need to change the SIM. The specific functions can also be assigned to specific SIM card like selecting from calls, SMS and data.
