Nokia is going to add a new model of Lumia to the existing Nokia mobiles with lower price and Wi-Fi hotspot. Nokia Lumia 610, a new variety in Lumia series, is blessed with a Wi-Fi phone which is excluded in the other higher-end products of the Lumia series like Nokia Lumia 710, Nokia Lumia 800 and Nokia Lumia 900. Though it lacks some of the other important features which the other higher-end handsets possess because of its low cost. This new feature helps it to connect to up to five Wi-Fi devices wirelessly. The new Nokia Lumia 610 is the first handset in this series to run on the new Windows Phone 7.5 refresh. Nokia Lumia 610 price in India hasn't been disclosed officially by the company but based on the pricing comparison to other parts of the world, the expected price of Nokia Lumia 610 in India rests on Rs.11000.
The Lumia 710 (Rs 15,500) and Lumia 800 have been available for some time now in India, but with the arrival of the low-end Nokia Lumia 610, it is only fitting that Nokia remains dedicated to one of their strongest markets. The Nokia Lumia 610 is one of the low-end Windows phones of Nokia in India.
The new Nokia Lumia 610 is touchscreen mobile with a TFT capacitive with a display size of 3.7'' and resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. Nokia Lumia 610 comes with a sleek design with delicious metallic colors weighing 131.5g only. Total memory available is only 8 GB(no slot for micro-SD cards). It uses a 1300mAh battery allowing a maximum 2G talktime of 10.5 hand 3G talktime of 9.5 h. The mobile camera is 5 megapixel with a high resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels. Other features that are there in the Nokia Lumia 610, with all Nokia applications, are handsfree speaker, bluetooth stereo, music player, FM radio, video recorder, 3x video zoom, face detection in camera etc. The Nokia Lumia 610 pictures are available at the official website of the company.
