Nokia mobiles is gaming up with a new Lumia handset to the Indian mobile market. Reportedly this new Nokia Bandit phablet is called as Lumia 1520 which is believed to hit the Indian mobile shelves very soon. There are many leaks and rumours surrounded this latest offering in its Lumia portfolio. The first Nokia Lumia 1520 pictures has been leaked on various mobile websites, but there are no much details coming to the specifications. We all know, the Finnish mobile maker is currently working on the Lumia 1020 which features a 41-megapixel camera with the latest PureView technology. Earlier the reports has rumoured that the company had code named this device as Bandit and it is expected to carry a full HD large display. No further information regarding the Nokia Lumia 1520 price and availability in the Indian market, it may be unveiled after few days.
Having a look at the leaked photos, the device is expected to have a 6 inch 1080 pixels HD display. As similar to the other Lumia handset, the body will be crafted with the polycarbonate material. If rumours are to be believed the Finnish handset manufacturer will bring this phone running with an updated version of Windows Phone 8 mobile operating system for enhanced user experience. The images can clearly state that the device may borrow the rear panel features of the Nokia Lumia 925 to accommodate the camera.
We all know that Microsoft is reportedly testing on the latest GDR3 software update for Windows Phone 8, so this phone is expected to bring this new update. Reports had also noted that the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor under its hood. Leaks and rumours also mentioned that the Nokia Lumia 1520 features with a 20-megapixel rear camera, but till date there is no officially confirmation on this. It is sure to be a good deal if the phone will be added with Qi wireless charging capability. Most of the experts guess that the company is planning to announce this smartphone sometime toward the end of September.
If all these rumours come true, this is to be the company's first extra-large smartphone till date and compete with with the likes of Samsung Galaxy Note series, Sony Xperia Z Ultra and HTC Butterfly S. it is sure with the launch of this big phone, the company will be making quite a impression in the smartphone industry and Nokia has also launched Nokia 301 a budget friendly phone.
