A new low range phone has been available in the market. It was released by Nokia mobiles. The company has named it Nokia Asha 200. The phone is currently available for purchase. It is a dual SIM phone. The demand for dual SIM phone is understood by the big brands. The Asha 200 will fulfill this need very well. It is a qwerty keypad phone. This type of keypad was not available in the first Asha phone. Nokia Asha 200 Price is Rs 4150. This would be categorized as a budget phone. It can be called a start up phone. It still has some features of a smart phone. It might have a powerful OS but the basic job will be done.
Nokia Asha 200 features are 115.4 x 61.1 x 14 mm size and 105 grams. Most of the length is occupied by the keypad. It is the main reason that the screen is of 2.4 inches. It is a TFT screen with 256K colors. It is not a touchscreen. But the phone has many apps that we spotted in the pictures. Even ringtones are handled by some application in the phone. This handset supports Vibration, Polyphonic(64) and MP3 ringtones. These are the sound outputs. Other sound outputs are loudspeaker and 3.5 mm audio jack. The phone can only store 10 MB of such multimedia files. You can attach a SD card in the memory card to handle this issue. The phone memory would be expanded to 32 GB.
This is the permanent memory of this phone. The temporary memory comprises of 64 MB ROM and 32 MB RAM. A faster processor also means fast access to the camera. The rear camera is of 2 MP. There is no secondary camera. But there is another feature that uses pictures. It is the photocall add-on to the contact list. Some times we need to send one contact information to another phone. You can use the Bluetooth to tranfer contect via business card. If you also send messages to other phones. This can be done through SMS, MMS, Email and IM.
