It seems like Nokia India is aggressively planning to capitalize on the increasing demand for QWERTY keypad equipped mobile phones in the country. The company that was limited to the normal alpha-numeric keypads so far is now all set to launch three QWERTY keypad loaded mobiles- Nokia C3, Nokia C6 and Nokia E5 - in the country. The QWERTY keypad in a mobile phone can completely revolutionize your messaging and texting experience, or in other words, it is the best for social-networking freaks.
All of these three mobiles come equipped with Nokia's mobile bound Ovi service which proves very handy in accessing multiple email accounts (up to 10) any time and anywhere. With this, these new Nokia weapons of social networking offers a high speed internet connectivity along with user friendly functioning. To provide a never before messaging experience to the users, Nokia has offered a unique conversational SMS chat feature, which provides you an option to keep the text dialog box on the top of mobile's home screen, so that an uninterrupted communication with your favorite contact can be ensured.
According to Mr Anssi Vanjoki, Executive Vice President, Nokia, launch of these mobile phones in India is a strategic option for Nokia. With the new devices the company is bringing mobile messaging and social networking into the hands of more people.
The Nokia C6 is a third generation smartphone which functions on Symbian S60 and hosts a 3.2 inch touchscreen. The 5 MP camera of Nokia C6 carries autofocus and flash options with it. With this the Nokia C6 comes loaded with Ovi Maps which proves very handy in searching for a particular location if you ever lost.
On the Other hand, the Nokia C3 is an economical phone which comes equipped with a 2.4 inch screen display. The Nokia C3 is a 2G (second-generation) enabled phone which comes connected with Wi-Fi. With this, it carries a 2 MP camera and 8GB (expandable) memory.
The last but not the least is Nokia E5 which is one of the latest Nokia smartphones which borrows many of its styling and featuring cues from its siblings in the Nokia's India stable like Nokia E71 and E63.The new Nokia smartphone has specially been designed for new generation business class users along with some personal use features, so that mobile can be used efficiently in both professional and personal deeds. It comes with internal memory of the handset is only 250MB, the total memory can be enhanced to as much as 32GB with the help of microSDHC card which enables you to store media-rich files like music, videos, and high-resolution images. It carries a 2.3 inch display and a 5MP camera.
Where the Nokia C3 has been priced at Rs. 5317.89, its sibling Nokia C6 is available at Rs. 13,000. At the same time the Nokia E5 is available at Rs. 10,634.
